Abdul Muhaymin Priester III

Abdul Muhaymin serves as the Imam & Assistant Chaplain for Muslim Life at 91大神. His experience spans several fields, including Islamic Studies, practical theology, leadership, and human and community development. He holds a Master's degree in Islamic Studies from The Islamic Seminary of America, with a focus on religious leadership. He is pursuing a Doctor of Ministry (DMin) in Practical Theology with a concentration in Leadership and Ethics from the Catholic Theological Union.
His academic work is complemented by extensive experience in educational and community program development, curriculum development, non-profit management, reentry programs, community engagement, policy analysis, development and advocacy. He also has a background in Psychology. His research interests include traditional Islamic sciences, leadership, ethics, and the experiences of African American converts to Islam.
Abdul Muhaymin also serves as a Senior Academy Instructor at the Tayba Foundation, where he has been working since September 2016.
