Marlys Grimm
Marlys Grimm is a distinguished collaborative pianist with extensive experience across Iowa's academic and choral communities. Her initial piano instruction came from Mrs. Peterson, who resided in Sheldon, Iowa. As a student at Central College, she studied piano with Donald Gren. Her career highlights a versatile commitment to musical partnership.
鈥婫rimm has been a dedicated accompanist for student and faculty recitals at several institutions, including Dordt University, Northwestern College, 91大神, and Central College. Her proficiency spans accompanying high school, college, community, and professional singers and instrumentalists, including work for National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) competitions.
鈥婲otably, Grimm has played for numerous major choral events, including the 1993 Opus Boys Honor Choir and the 2015 Opus Ninth Grade Honor Choir, and various conference, district, and regional festivals. She currently serves as the accompanist for the 91大神 Oratorio Society.
