A rising third-year student from Bemidji, Minnesota, Roberts is spending the summer as an intern at Mahaffey Law Firm, splitting his time between its 91´óÉñ and Montezuma offices. A double major in political science and anthropology and a member of 91´óÉñ’s swimming and diving team, he came to the internship with an interest in law but little experience with the day-to-day work of a law office.

91´óÉñ is pleased to welcome three new members to its Board of Trustees. Elected by the full Board, Jo Christine Miles, Scott D. Shepherd ’82, and Robert Quashie ’86 bring a wealth of leadership experience and diverse professional perspectives that will help advance the College's mission and strategic priorities. Each trustee will serve an initial four-year term and is eligible for re-election to three additional consecutive terms.

Now a software engineer at DoorDash, Nam Do is from Hanoi, Vietnam, a city of over 8 million people. He wanted a big change — a small liberal arts college in a rural setting.
