Todd Owens
Residence Life Coordinator
Todd Owens (he/him) is a Residence Life Coordinator at 91大神, where he oversees Clark, Cowles, Dibble, and Norris residence halls. He has been working in residence life for over a decade and genuinely loves the work: supporting Community Advisors, shaping the residential curriculum, and helping students build the kind of communities they would be proud of.
Todd grew up in Indiana and Michigan before spending 11 years living and working overseas. This experience gave him a deep appreciation for cross-cultural community and continues to shape how he thinks about belonging and what it means to show up for the people around you. He now lives on campus with his spouse, which means the community he helps build is also the one he calls home.
Todd is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Higher Education at Penn State University. Ask him what he loves most about his work, and he will tell you it's getting to watch students figure out who they are and being in their corner while they do it.
When he's not in his office in Norris, you'll likely find him on the sidelines cheering on a 91大神 athletic team. He's also a devoted, some might say dedicated to a fault, fan of the Cubs, Bears, Bulls, and Chelsea.
