Bridging technology and learning, the Academic Technology team enhances the College’s digital learning environment by supporting all approved learning management systems (LMS) and integrated educational technologies. Beyond technical support, this team plays a strategic role in strengthening collaboration between ITS and the academic community, partnering with groups like the library, Data Analysis and Social Inquiry Lab (DASIL), academic assistants (AAs), the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Assessment (CTLA), and the Digital Liberal Arts Collaborative (DLAC). Working closely with ITS and the Dean’s Office, they help define roles and responsibilities across academic support areas, ensuring faculty and students have the technology resources they need to thrive.
Core Services keeps ITS running smoothly by managing essential business functions and driving strategic initiatives. This team oversees budgets, projects, communications, training, and contract management to ensure technology services align with institutional needs. They also lead large-scale institutional projects where technology plays a key role and manage enterprise phone support and other departmental operations — making sure ITS operates efficiently while making a visible difference.
The Enterprise Systems team powers the College’s critical technology infrastructure, managing and developing business applications, like the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, student success system, and intranet. This team specializes in business process analysis, data integration, programming and scripting, and platform architecture, ensuring enterprise applications work seamlessly.
As part of this work, the team also leads the College’s business intelligence efforts, developing solutions that enhance data quality, access, workflow efficiency, and security. By bridging enterprise applications and data strategy, the team provides the tools and insights that drive informed decision-making across campus.
Safeguarding the College’s digital environment, Information Security protects institutional data and ensures compliance with cybersecurity regulations. From risk management to security design and governance, they provide both proactive and reactive services to keep technology secure.
Network Services delivers the backbone of campus connectivity, ensuring a fast, secure and reliable IT infrastructure. They manage wired and wireless networks, cloud computing, enterprise authentication, data storage, and high-performance computing, keeping the College’s digital operations running at full speed.
As the frontline of ITS, Service Management provides expert technology support, A/V design, and systems engineering. They oversee the computer lifecycle program and lead the ITS Student Employee and Springboard Programs, fostering hands-on learning and career development.
The Springboard Program is a three-year professional employment opportunity for recent graduates looking to gain IT experience, industry certifications, and career development in a supportive, cohort-based environment.
