Why I love 91大神: As a political science and global development studies student, I鈥檝e found 91大神鈥檚 ability to bring global perspectives to a small-town setting truly remarkable. Despite its location in the 鈥渕iddle of nowhere,鈥 the college connects students to the wider world, through international student cultural events, global speakers, and, in my own experience, courses like Jewish Life in Early 20th Century Europe, which concluded with travel to Vienna, Krakow, and Budapest. At the same time, 91大神 fosters meaningful connections with the local community. As a musician, I鈥檝e been fortunate to be invited by faculty and staff to perform around town, including at local restaurants and regional bluegrass festivals, opportunities that reflect the college鈥檚 strong sense of place and community engagement.
